Everest Recruitment and Services is hiring Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Derby. This is a temporary role, offering a daily pay rate of £90-£120. Ideal for individuals exploring a teaching career or those with experience in classroom supervision, this role involves ensuring learning continuity in the absence of teachers.

Responsibilities
• Deliver pre-set lessons and maintain a structured classroom environment
• Supervise student behaviour and engagement to ensure a productive learning atmosphere
• Support academic continuity and enforce school policies
• Provide daily reports on classroom outcomes to department heads

Requirements
• A degree or relevant experience in education or supervision (preferred)
• Confidence in classroom management and student engagement
• Flexible, professional, and able to remain calm under pressure

Safeguarding and Vetting (Mandatory)
• Enhanced DBS check (including barred list check) with annual updates
• Completion of an in-person or video interview
• Right to work & ID verification
• Full 2-year work history with two educational references
• Any employment gaps of more than 4 weeks require an explanation
• Qualification and safeguarding training checks
• Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
