Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to individuals, particularly children, in their daily activities. This position requires a strong ability to communicate effectively and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in our care.
Responsibilities
• Assist individuals with personal care tasks, including hygiene, dressing, and feeding.
• Develop and implement care plans tailored to the specific needs of each individual.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance the well-being of those you support.
• Facilitate engaging activities that promote social interaction and skill development.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the individual's condition.
• Collaborate with other professionals, including healthcare providers and social workers, to ensure comprehensive support.
• Drive individuals to appointments or community activities as required.
• Utilise IT skills to manage documentation and communication effectively.
Requirements
• Previous experience working with children is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with individuals and their families
• Ability to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
• A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting individuals as needed.
• A background in childcare or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others are crucial for success in this role.

Job Type: Temporary
Pay: £13.45 - £13.99 per day
