We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our growing team at Everest Recruitment and Services. This flexible, client-led role involves providing person-centred care and support to individuals in their homes or within care facilities. Responsibilities
• Deliver personal care and assistance with daily living tasks (e.g., dressing, grooming, bathing).
• Support clients with meal preparation, medication prompts, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, especially those with dementia or other health conditions.
• Encourage and participate in social and recreational activities to enhance clients' well-being.
• Maintain up-to-date records and report any changes in the client's health or circumstances.
• Work collaboratively with families, healthcare providers, and care teams to follow tailored care plans.

Requirements
• Previous experience in care or support work is highly desirable.
• Understanding of dementia care or training in health and social care is an advantage.
• A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to working with vulnerable individuals.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving and handling duties.
• Flexibility to accept shifts based on client needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Shifts are offered based on client availability and requirements – there are no guaranteed hours.
• This position is best suited for individuals seeking part-time or flexible work, including students.

Pay: £13.65 - £14.13 per hour
