Description

We are currently recruiting for a Level 3 qualified EYFS Assistant to support a nursery setting within a primary school in Somerset.

This is a temporary role covering staffing needs pending recruitment, starting mid-May.


🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Support children within an EYFS/nursery environment
  • Assist in delivering age-appropriate learning activities
  • Promote child development and wellbeing
  • Ensure safeguarding and safety standards are maintained

🔹 Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 AM – 03:00 PM
  • Friday: 08:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Start Date: 18 May 2026

🔹 Requirements

  • Level 3 (or higher) childcare qualification (essential)
  • Experience in EYFS/nursery settings
  • Understanding of safeguarding requirements
  • Positive and proactive approach
