Everest Recruitment & Services Ltd is recruiting an experienced ST3+ General Surgery Registrar for an exciting locum opportunity within a leading NHS Trust in Northern Ireland.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a busy General Surgery department while participating in the Urology on-call rota at Registrar level. The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering high-quality surgical care within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality General Surgery services.
• Participate in the Urology on-call rota at Registrar level.
• Assess, diagnose and manage surgical patients.
• Work collaboratively with consultants, junior doctors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using electronic patient record systems.
• Ensure safe, effective and patient-centred clinical practice.
• Contribute to ward rounds, emergency admissions and theatre activity where required.
• Comply with GMC standards, NHS policies and clinical governance requirements.

Essential Requirements

• ST3+ level training in General Surgery.
• Full GMC Registration with licence to practise.
• Previous NHS experience within General Surgery.
• Experience using EPIC or Encompass electronic patient record systems is desirable.
• Excellent clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
