Everest Recruitment & Services Ltd is recruiting an experienced Children's Services Social Worker to join a busy Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in Dudley.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MASH Social Worker to contribute to safeguarding children and supporting families through high-quality assessments, multi-agency collaboration, and evidence-based interventions. Candidates must have previous UK MASH experience, as only applicants with relevant experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied MASH caseload involving children and families.
• Complete high-quality safeguarding, child protection and risk assessments.
• Undertake Child in Need and Child Protection investigations.
• Develop and implement effective care and support plans.
• Work collaboratively with police, health services, education providers and partner agencies.
• Attend strategy meetings, case conferences and court proceedings where required.
• Maintain accurate case records using Liquid Logic and departmental systems.
• Prepare professional reports and recommendations within statutory timescales.
• Promote positive outcomes through child-centred, restorative and evidence-based practice.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding legislation, statutory guidance and organisational policies.

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Social Work or recognised equivalent qualification.
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Previous UK MASH experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Children's Social Care legislation and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent assessment, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Experience preparing reports and attending court proceedings.
• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
