We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants (TA) to support primary schools across Somerset and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience working with children, as well as university students or graduates looking to gain valuable school-based experience.
Immediate opportunities are available for short-term and ongoing placements.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery
• Providing one-to-one or small group support
• Supporting children with additional needs (SEN where required)
• Helping maintain a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
Requirements
• Experience working with children (school, tutoring, care or similar)
• OR university students / graduates (preferred but not essential)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic
Compliance
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
• Right to Work in the UK
• References available
