Everest Recruitment & Services Ltd is recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for an experienced and motivated Educational Psychologist to join a multidisciplinary team supporting children and young people across Surrey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide psychological consultation to schools, SENCOs, teachers, parents and other professionals.
  • Undertake psychological assessments, classroom observations and learning environment assessments.
  • Prepare professional reports and provide evidence-based recommendations.
  • Support statutory SEND assessments within Local Authority timescales.
  • Attend annual reviews, SEN panels and multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Provide consultation and assessment services for Early Years children.
  • Deliver training and advice to schools and education professionals.
  • Maintain accurate electronic records and case documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes for children and young people.
  • Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD), peer supervision and service improvement activities.

Essential Requirements

  • Honours Degree in Psychology.
  • Postgraduate Qualification in Educational Psychology.
  • HCPC Registered Educational Psychologist (or eligible for registration).
  • Chartered Status with the British Psychological Society (BPS), or eligible.
  • Experience working with children within educational, childcare or community settings.
  • Excellent communication, consultation and report-writing skills.
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and continuous professional development.
