Everest Recruitment & Services is acting as an Employment Business on behalf of a reputable care provider in Essex. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join their team, supporting residents within a residential home setting.
This is a rewarding opportunity to provide 2:1 support to residents, assisting with personal care, daily living activities, and community outings.
Shift patterns include day shifts, night shifts, and weekend shifts – offering flexibility to suit your availability.
Key responsibilities:
- Support residents with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting) as required
- Assist with medication management
- Support residents with daily living activities and community outings
- Work collaboratively with the care team and other professionals
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Follow CQC regulations and care home policies
- Administer buccal medication as required (training provided)
Contract: Ad-hoc / Temporary | Flexible shifts | Start: 19/06/2026
Rate: Competitive (PAYE, via Everest's payroll)
Requirements:
- Care Certificate (Essential)
- Up-to-date Mandatory Training Certificate
- Medication Management Training (Essential)
- Buccal Training (Essential)
- Moving & Handling Practical Certificate (Essential)
- Epilepsy Awareness Training (Essential)
- Enhanced DBS with Adults Barred List (must be on Update Service)
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
- Ability to work flexible shifts (days, nights, weekends)
- Experience in a similar setting (Essential)
