FY2 - General Medicine

Everest Recruitment & Services is acting as an Employment Business on behalf of a leading NHS Trust in Northern Ireland. We are seeking an experienced FY2 Doctor to join the General Medicine team at Causeway Hospital, Coleraine.

This is a locum opportunity to work within a busy and supportive medical department, providing high-quality care to patients. The role involves managing a varied caseload, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the delivery of excellent patient outcomes.

Shift Pattern: 29/06/2026 – 31/07/2026 | 08:00 – 17:00 | Monday to Sunday
Contract: 5 weeks | Rate: Competitive (PAYE)

Key responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive clinical assessment and management of patients
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Adhere to GMC guidelines and Trust policies
- Support junior medical staff and contribute to teaching where appropriate

Requirements:
- Full GMC registration with a valid License to Practice
- FY2 level experience or equivalent
- Proven experience in General Medicine within the NHS or equivalent healthcare system
- Enhanced DBS check (must be on Update Service)
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
- Northern Ireland Audit Pack (required at placement creation)
- Two clinical references (including most recent employer)
