Healthcare Assistant – Powys

Everest Recruitment & Services is acting as an Employment Business on behalf of a reputable elderly residential care provider in the Powys area. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join their team on a flexible, ad-hoc shift basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HCAs to support elderly residents with personal care, feeding, dressing, and daily living activities in a warm and supportive environment.

Shift patterns include day shifts, night shifts, and weekend shifts – offering flexibility to suit your availability.

Key responsibilities:
- Provide personal care support (washing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Assist residents with mobility and daily living activities
- Support with meal times and hydration
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Promote dignity, respect, and independence
- Work collaboratively with the care team and other professionals
- Follow CQC regulations and care home policies

Contract: Ad-hoc / Temporary | Flexible shifts | Start: 1/07/2026
Rate: Competitive (PAYE)

Requirements:
- Care Certificate (Essential)
- Up-to-date Mandatory Training Certificate
- Experience in elderly care (Essential)
- Enhanced DBS with Adults Barred List (must be on Update Service)
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
- Ability to work flexible shifts (days, nights, weekends)
