Key responsibilities

• Assess patients’ or residents’ care needs and deliver appropriate nursing care
• Administer medicines safely and maintain accurate medication records
• Monitor clinical observations and escalate changes in condition
• Maintain accurate care plans and clinical documentation
• Support and guide healthcare assistants where required
• Follow safeguarding, infection-control and health and safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with families and multidisciplinary professionals
• Maintain dignity, confidentiality and person-centred care

Essential requirements

• Valid UK NMC registration
• Minimum one year of relevant UK nursing experience
• Right to Work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service or willingness to complete a new check
• Up-to-date mandatory training
• Satisfactory professional references
• Availability for day and weekend shifts
